Warwick’s practice is built around the discovery of unique textures derived from organic forms. Through digital manipulation, they mutate into something else entirely. His ideas are brought to realisation through his fascination with additive manufacturing and scanning technologies. The minute mechanical movements of the 3D printer produce intricate, rippling layer lines in his work, reminiscent of abstract landscapes. Casting bronze sculptures requires a high level of technical expertise in a specialist environment, a career in which Warwick has had the privilege of being since 2004. This extensive hands-on experience has allowed him to continually push the boundaries of bronze casting, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary innovation in his art and design work.
